Tesco is pleased to announce the launch of the Tesco 13s Football Cup, the first Home International tournament for boys of this age group. Community football teams from all over the UK are currently competing in the initial stages of the competition, with the four national winners coming together in May to find the UK winners.  Scotland will be represented by the winners of the SYFA 13s Cup and will travel to the Reebok Stadium, the home of English Premiership side Bolton Wanderers, for the final next year.

Tim Mason, Tesco Marketing Director, said: "There is a real passion for the game at a grassroots level and the Tesco U13 Cup will embrace the enthusiasm of the 35,500 children taking part. This is one of our many initiatives which will encourage children to be active and healthy."
